Terry is a columnist with cleveland.com and The Plain Dealer. He is a Northeast Ohio native, having attended Benedictine High School and graduating from Cleveland State University with a degree in secondary education and social studies.

Julie Washington has been a health care reporter for The Plain Dealer and cleveland.com for four years. She joined cleveland.com in 2020. During her career, she was editor of Friday! magazine and NEXT: News Exclusively for Teens, and wrote about pop culture and home and garden.

Amanda McFarland is the account manager for Northeast Ohio, supporting the Medicare and individual markets. Amanda has been with Medical Mutual for more than six years. Prior to Medical Mutual, Amanda worked at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield in a similar role for nearly ten years.

Christina has been with OSHIIP for over 23 years and has been the Director since 2012, ensuring education and outreach are delivered equally and equitably across our state. OSHIIP’s mission is to provide objective and unbiased information to Ohio Medicare patients so they are able to make educated decisions regarding their Medicare health and drug coverage.

Jennifer Detrick-Myers is the Medical Mutual account manager for southwest Ohio, supporting the Medicare and Individual and Family markets. Jennifer is originally from the Dayton area, where she worked on both the wholesale and retail side of the business marketing group, including Individual and Medicare products. In years prior to joining Medical Mutual, she served as part of the large group account team for Premier Health Plan working with clients, agents, and brokers in southwest Ohio.

Craig D. Thomas MBA, LSW, CCM, is the Senior Director of Clinical Services, Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging (WRAAA). As the director of clinical services for the WRAAA, he oversees the dual-eligible Medicare + Medicaid population programs, assuring access to needed services and supports, and overseeing community care management of Medicare recipients to assist then navigating complex care needs. He has 20 years of experience supporting the aging network in the Cleveland region, with a focus on community members with in-home care needs under the Medicare networks.
