Sue Workman is responsible for creating the vision and strategies that enable the delivery of technology solutions supporting Case Western Reserve University’s mission of teaching, learning, research, and security, along with day‐to‐day functions of the university.  

 Workman has been instrumental in an innovative collaboration between CWRU and Cleveland Clinic with Microsoft to develop the first educational application for HoloLens, a mixed reality device. She led an extraordinary change process with CWRU’s initiative to centralize all IT services and community, bringing an individuated culture together into one unified organization. Workman also implemented “Re-Imagining IT,” UTech’s strategic planusing an unconventional approach engaging the full campus community.  Workman is now driving a university-wide expansion of online learning, including curriculum development and delivery methods. 

 Sue’s leadership service includes: Vice-Chair of Board of Directors for EDUCAUSE; board director for the First Mutual Holding Company; serving on Cleveland’s DigitalC board, and former Northeast Ohio Cybersecurity Consortium President and Board Chair She is involved with multiple advisory boards.  

 With a passion for leadership development, strategic planning and team building, Workman has published widely in industry and higher education journals and gives presentations on many topics, offering insights on change process, leadership, team-building practices, and strategic planning.
