If you’ve been to the Cleveland Public Library lately, you know it’s more than a place to rent books. CPL has made significant additions to its technology offerings, including 3D printing, a music recording studio, iPad rentals, free music downloads, and free computer classes. But when so many people have a preconceived notion of what a library is, it can be difficult to get the word out about new features. That’s why the Cleveland Public Library turned to Advance Ohio for marketing support.
The library launched a Search Engine Marketing campaign about three years ago to drive more traffic to their website and create more awareness of the availability of free media downloads. CPL has consistently generated traffic from this campaign, receiving about 500 clicks to their website every week.
